We decided in order to catch our audience of students who grew up with Monster Munch (and people that didn't) was to tap into clubbing culture. We created a viral campaign that has worked so well for many companies. We needed a catchy song so Rachel's friend DJ Tim put together this mix for us and then we got to work, dancing shoes, a stop-motion set of pom-poms and the monsters on a dancefloor (created with Kay's PATIENT!!! hands) and a lot of fun (and fake eyelashes , along with neon make-up) later and we had this, which we all would say we are proud of.
It works so well as a campaign to a set of events that would begin in Freshers week. Fun and Monster shaped corn snacks all round!
