So have been interested in PAPER and could never understand how people could just sit and do such small cuttings, but oh am whiling to learn. And my gosh so looking forward to this book arriving.

Spending Spree...

So last night i had a look on Amazon and just couldn't help my self but purchase some lovely books....


I was advised to purchase this book on thursday night when i went for a formal pupils meal of my old Graphics class at high school... said it would come in a big help for my future plans, and well i could resist but get it. Can not wait for it to arrive so i can get a closer look at it.


Ohhhh the joys of books.

These two books i have been looking at for a while now and final made the plunge to purchase them, oh the excitement of new gifts for yourself :D.

Was so HAPPY this week when my little nephew was born.
he is the tiniest cutest thing i have ever seen... now thinking it may be time to grow up and mature, not to much.

Finlay James Anderson was born at 1.14 Thursday morning, weighing 6lb 8 1/2 oz.

BRIEF: As a class come up with the top 12 typefaces that we would love to use if stuck on a dessert island and design typographic posters to illustrate the type.

The Poster was designed on a A2 scale and had to have a continuous footer that would flow through the 12 posters.

BRIEF: Design a contemporary range of packaging for The Body Shop that unites their brand values with the premium nature of the products.


Tag line: Guilt just got Ethical.

BRIEF: Give this energy brand a Boost; choose your audience, develop a product and packaging, then go to town to promote your product.

should really try and keep up with this bloggin thing, but darn i always forget. but now am back in business.... where to start ahhhhhhh.

We had to pick a topic out of a box e.g future, cooking, business, architecture 

I pulled out Business and had to create 2 articles for this magazine.

My two articles where Eco Business, new up and coming Eco friendly club that has just launched in london. And Office Scandals, whose seeing who, whats happening in an office near you.

On this brief we had to work with HND photographers , brief them on the images you wanted , go with them on the shoots. i found this fun and enjoyable and think that i got some good shots out of my photographer. It was pleasing to receive my images on time, because i was warned that i may not get them went i wanted but i was prepared.

Are tutor wanted us to do the tattoo brief in a Day, this was my final solution.

Brief 5. Tattoo:

‘We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.’ - a line from Arthur O’Shaughnessy’s poem ‘Ode’ (and also used in the original Charlie & the Chocolate Factory film). The agency who submitted this brief believes all designers should be able to recite this poem. Instead, design a typographic tattoo of the quote. If it‘s really good, their Creative Director may even have the tattoo done! It can go anywhere on the body, (however, the more discreet it is, the more likely he is to have it done!).
